Al lang verkeert het vakantietoerisme in de greep van het economisch denken en sociologisch onderzoek. Op deze website wordt een gebalanceerder inzicht aangehouden: de toeristen zelf en hun ontmoeting met hun vakantiebestemming. De toeristen nemen wat hen aangereikt wordt en gebruiken dit voor hun eigen doeleinden; het zijn deze doeleinden die ons het meest interesseren en meer dan 25 artikelen op deze website gaan daar nu juist over: het toerisme van de toeristen.
Onder het hoofdje "Toerisme" is een nieuw artikel van mij toegevoegd over Klimaatsverandering (Juli 2020).
